CEO: S7 Airlines to raise passenger traffic 2–3% in 2023

NOVOSIBIRSK, Apr 25 (PRIME) -- S7 Airlines plans to raise passenger traffic by 2–3% in 2023 and by 10% in Novosibirsk thanks to the launch of a new terminal in the airport, CEO Dmitry Kudelkin said on Tuesday.

"Novosibirsk is a home city for S7, Tolmachyovo is a home airport, which is why it is important for us, jointly with the Novaport holding company and Tolmachyovo airport, to provide the best service for the Novosibirsk residents, as well as those who choose Tolmachyovo as a transfer hub. In fact, there were more than 2 billion such passengers last year, according to information available today," Kudelkin said.

"The Novosibirsk growth will exceed slightly that of the country on average, more than 10%... The figure for the country as a whole is 2–3%."

The airline is to service all flights on the new terminal starting from Tuesday, he said.

The executive separately said that S7 Airlines hopes for a positive financial result in any circumstances.
